Committed to quality product, artist Van Lee chooses to use Argentium Sterling Silver for the majority of her pieces. Argentium Silver contains 93.5% silver and is highly tarnish resistant. The silver is modified by removing some of the copper content and replacing it with the metalloid germanium. The addition of germanium increases tarnish resistance and has the environmental advantage of not having to plate over firescale.
